is a professional organization
dedicated to the

A Joint Effort and Great Success:
PA Blaster's Training Workshop
Co-sponsered by the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern PA Chapters of
ISEE, June 20, 2003. 150 Registered, 138 Certificates of
Completion issued. This effort served a real need. Each Chapter
received over $8,000.00 to help advance our Profession. Many
thanks for the hard work of Davey Baldauf, Dave Harrison,
Presenter, Dale Ramsey and Chuch Sutton of Mid-Atlantic and
Denny Kisthart, Randy May and Chuck Tomlin of Eastern PA.

Membership:
Established in 1983
the Chapter has over 100 members from
Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West
Virginia. Membership is open to
those employed in the blasting industry,
vendors and suppliers to the industry,
law enforcement, consultants,
military, educators, government regulators
as well as students of
appropriate disciplines.

Mission:
Our purpose is to
bring together blasters, drillers and all others associated
with the
manufacture of explosives and the blasting industry
to exchange information,
provide and encourage training and,
in general, enhance the professionalism
of all members.
Meetings:
Chapter meetings are
held 3 times a year.
The location of the meeting is published in
"The
Mid-Atlantic Informer" and on this web page.
Every two years the Mid-Atlantic Chapter cooperates with the Eastern PA
Chapter,
Penn State University and the PA DEP in sponsoring the
PA Blasters
Conference at the University.
Education:
The Chapter supports
and cooperates with the
PA DEP Continuing Education Program.
Both the
Chapter's technical meetings and the Blasters Conference
will qualify
towards the Program's training requirements.
Publications:
The Chapter
publishes a quarterly news letter entitled
"The Mid-Atlantic Informer" with
messages, news and announcements
of interest to the membership.
